Todd built this remarkable T37 with custom fittings. Every detail is perfect. Recently he lashed a mini video camera on board and filmed some great footage from the deck as he sailed across a lake in Arizona. You can see the film at www.modelsailboat.com/movie.html

Away we go!

Looks like great weather for some sailing

WOW! Amazing pictures, thanks Todd

Good afternoon Will,

Here are a few photos of two T37's
sailing together in the Midwest. My father
and I spent the afternoon sailing in quite rough
conditions on Green Bay in September.

Good times.

Hi Will:
Again, thanks for answering the newbie questions during construction.
Here are the photos taken on Saturday afternoon. The first is me, the proud owner/builder with my T37 (yet unnamed, but my family and I are working on it!)

I can only echo the many comments on your web site. I am extremely pleased with the quality and value of the kit, the detail of the instructions, and the generous supplies included. I panicked when I lost a rigging sleeve, but then found out that you provided extras and would be able to finish the boat 'correctly' without having to improvise. Thanks!

I was able to take her out this afternoon. I've never sailed an r/c boat before, but it only took about 2 minutes to get the feel of it. My 7 year old son and 11 year old daughter, also neophytes, picked it up quickly too, and were sailing quite well. We all enjoyed the outing immensely. The boat handled well and was very fast. I can see now why so many of your first time customers order more after their first sail :-). I can already see how neat it would be to race, and am pondering how I can convince my wife that all three kids need T37's for Christmas :-)

Here is my son, enjoying himself with the first sail of the
afternoon. It was a little cloudier and windier than our first
sail the day before. The boat really went in the wind!

I'm looking forward to more sailing days in the coming weeks, and so
are my kids. You may be hearing from me again in the future for
another boat.

Thanks again

I took these on the maiden voyage at Easton Ponds just off I90 around
mile post 75.

Summermint from
Charlotte, North Carolina, by Leon Hart

This is the pond I have on the farm.

Here are a few pictures I took showing what a grand day it was, at least for me.

The winds were light, but it was so quiet and peaceful that I sat out there for a couple of hours and enjoyed my boat.

Thanks for the wonderful pleasure your T37 has
given to me in the building and now the sailing.

Leon, I love that dark green hull with the light spring green jib. She is really leaving a wake as she races across the pond.
And what a great name for a boat, "Summer Mint"! It captures the whole feeling of relaxing and enjoying the grace
and beauty of the day. A beautiful building job!
Happy Sailing,
Will

Timothy from Alexandria, Virginia, by Bob Gants

Bob writes:

"Thanks! Congratulations for the success of the T-37. I know of one new order from Alexandria. Steve Nielson and I were sailing our boats on the Potomac before New Years and generated a lot of interest.

Thanks for the pictures, Bob. What a fine looking yacht!
