Charter right from Bellingham - the closest port to the San Juans and the Gulf Islands. Preplanned itineraries available or plan your own trip. Only minutes from Bellingham airport. From Seattle, just 1 1/2 hours North on route 5.

We offer a skippered charter with a highly experienced skipper with years of sailing background (see my background at Excellent Sailing Performance). This can either be a relaxing vacation cruise with no other object than having fun, or it can be a terrific chance to improve your sailing skills in an on the water learning experience with your whole family where you handle the boat and do the navigating and planning with an experienced instructor to guide and instruct you. We cover all the basics of cruising and the important elements of local knowledge in cruising the waters of Puget Sound.
There is no finer cruising area anywhere in the country. Enjoy the snow capped majesty of 10,000 foot volcanoes, the soaring splendour of bald eagles, and the huge solemnity of old growth forests on protected islands. We welcome you to the best of the Pacific Northwest!
For skippered charters or skippered instruction the rate is just $265 per day for the boat and the skipper with a minimum of a half day. I conduct all of the skippered charters myself. I've had years of enjoying the San Juan and Gulf Islands and will guide you to some of my favorite places.
